I wanna help you a little, and talk about what you have to do and what it takes to be the best example for your body and mind. There is only one thing it takes, SELF-DICSIPLINE! You have to stay consistence with your food and your training, if you do that you will see results. Easy peasy huh!… I wanna help you, on your journey to a healthier lifestyle by giving you some basic food ‘advise’ IF you want to lose weight.
You have to eliminate carbs out of your diet, like any kind of bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, oats, any kind of porridge, chickpeas, beans, all nuts are high on carbs so be careful eating to many of thoese. Dried fruit, like mango, dates, raisins etc. is just like eating candy- with the amount of natural sugar it contains. Not to many dairy products, i do put milk in my coffee in the morning. Be a little aware drinking the plantbased milk, some of them have a bunch of carbs in there, you could fx go after the unsweetened soy milk. Of course dont consume any kind of candy, cake, popcorn, chips(is btw the worst thing in the world you can eat) And one last thing, Alcohol! Try to eliminate these things out of your diet and you will feel and see results fast. And your tummy will thank you!
Well, maybe you are thinking… What can i eat then ?!!!
No worries, its all the good foods there is left for you to eat. Like veggies, eat tons of green veggies, they are filled with vitamins, minerals and so on, you can cook them in so many ways or eat them raw. Chop up a bunch of veggies, put them in containers and store them in your fridge so you have for a whole week. It could be kale, green and red cabbage, carrots, cucumber, courgette, beets, squash, spinach, fennel, broccoli, asparagus, tomatoes, onions, ETC. Make a bunch of chicken, fish, whatever meat you desire and make enough so it last for the whole week too.It really works for me, its easy and fast to grab out of the fridge, put a little of everything in a bowl and YUM! You can add a little pesto, herbs and spices to make it more fun for your tastebuds. You could make veggie breads for your burgers or make a veggie crust for your pizza. You can eat cottage cheese, SKYR(super high on protein) eggs, Dont think to much about fat, you can eat a little bacon, butter and fry your foods in coconut oil. Eat fruits, but be careful with to many bananas and pinapples. Drink LOTS of water during the day.
THE BEST thing of all, you can eat as much as you want, fill the plate up and eat til you are full! I love that….
You can choose to have 1-2 ‘refill’ days a week, where you can eat a refill meal, like a burger or pizza or a little candy, but remember not to fill yourself up with bad carbs the whole day, it’s ONE meal or save the refill meals if you know you have a birthday party or a date out in town.
REMEMBER, these food advises are to people who wants to lose som extra pounds. When you are done with your weightlost and reached your goals and just want to continue your healthy lifestyle, you can add some extra healthy carbs to your diet.
