I LOVE our mornings, might be my favorite time a day. My husband usually wakes up with our son Ollie around 6-7 ish and i wake up when our daughter Alfa jump on our bed at 7.30-8 and starts kissing my cheeks asking for banana pancakes.
I enjoy our slow mornings to the fullest, i believe a slow, calm and good start of the day is the best you can give yourself and your kids, another thing i demand on doing is that we all sit down around the table and eat our breakfast slowly.
I usually make banana pancakes for breakfast, its sooooo easy to make, fills you up good, give you the good energy you need in the morning and the most important thing. Its healthy and ONLY made with natural ingredients and you can add whatever your taste buds likes.
Banana pancakes recipes:
Gives you around 12-14 pancakes.
- 3-4 Organic Bananas
- 4 egg(Organic free range)
- A handfull of Organic gluten free oats
- Not needed, but you can add a little Almond milk or any kind of plant based milk.
- OPTION 1 mix in shredded courgette or apples or cabbage to get your greens in.
- OPTION 2 mix in cinnamon, cardemomme or shredded coconut… Even all 3 – Mmmm
Put all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and blend with your immersion blender or use a regular blender. (I use kitchen aid immersion blender) Fry them in a little coconut oil or even a good unsalted butter. A little tip is to use very high heat on your frying pan, flip them fast so they dont stick. Serve with lots of fruits, chopped favorite nuts or a green smoothie.
